Directions

Directions For Use: Laundry: Use to bleach white and colorfast Acrylics, Cotton, Nylon, Polyester, Rayon (test to be sure). Do not use on Acetate, Leather, Silk, Spandex or Wool. Standard Washer-1/2 cup. Extra Large Washer-1 cup. For HE Washers, add using the bleach dispenser following the machine manufacturer's instructions. Laundry: Sort laundry by color. Add 2 tbsp or 1/8 cup of bleach to each 1 gallons of water, or 1 cup per washing machine load (16 gallons). For slightly soiled clothes, use proportionately less bleach. For HE Machines: Fill bleach dispenser to maximum level. For Best Results: Use bleach dispenser. Dilute 3/4 cup of bleach in 1 quart water. Add to wash 5 minutes after wash cycle has begun. For heavily soiled loads, use slightly more bleach. Remove Stains or Hand Washing: Mix 1/4 cup of bleach with a gallon of water. Soak stained area for 5 minutes to remove grass, ink, coffee, tea, scorch, fruit, etc. Rinse thoroughly. Bleach Test: To test-dye colorfastness, add 1 teaspoon of bleach to 1/4 cup of water and then place one drop of the solution on the hidden part of a seam. Blot dry after 1 minute. No color change means the piece may be bleached safely. Do not bleach wool, silk, mohair, leather, spandex and non-fast colors. Irritant. Eye and skin irritant. Harmful if swallowed. Strong Oxidizer. Causes skin burns and substantial but temporary eye injury. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. For prolonged use, wear rubber gloves when handling product. Harmful if inhaled. Avoid breathing vapors. Harmful if swallowed. First Aid: Call poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have the product container or label with you when calling a Poison Control Center or doctor, or going for treatment. You may contact the Poison Control Center at 1-800-222-1222. If in eyes - Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 - 20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes then continue rinsing eye. If on skin or clothing - Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15 - 20 minutes. If inhaled - Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth, if possible. If swallowed - Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Note to Physician: Probable mucosaI damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Environmental Hazards: This product is toxic to fish and other aquatic organisms. Physical and Chemical Hazards: Strong oxidizer. Flush drains before and after use. Do not use or mix with other household chemicals, such as toilet bowl cleaners, rust removers, acid, vinegar or ammonia containing products. To do so will release hazardous gasses that could be fatal. Prolonged contact with metal may cause pitting or discoloration. Do not use in copper, aluminum or iron containers. Do not use this product on chipped or cracked enamel or porcelain. Do not use product at full strength for cleaning surfaces. Always dilute in accordance with directions. Do not mix with ammonia - Do not mix with acids. Keep Out of Reach of Children and Pets Storage and Disposal Storage: Store away from children. Store in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and heat to avoid deterioration. Keep bottle upright and tightly capped. Disposal: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse empty container. Offer for recycling, if available, or place in trash collection. Not harmful to septic tanks.
